Homeward Bound

The walk of Friday December 21st, 2017.

Finally, after working at Edgehill University for fourteen years, I have now managed to walk home!

And I loved it, even if the tops of my legs did start to chafe after just a couple of miles – owing to wearing jeans. I left at roughly twelve o’clock and arrived home at five to three. All told that was 9.2 miles – all which was on pavements and roads. I plan on making this a yearly thing. Update – I am going to do this again much sooner than I thought as it will be helpful in getting some fitness back.
